Advanced transceiver search, 10am – 12pm · Robert Thor (ACMG)
Go past the single-burial drill. You’ll work multiple burials, deep burials and close-together signals, using marking, micro-search strips and a systematic fine search to get from first signal to a confident probe strike fast. Expect plenty of reps, timed scenarios and feedback from a guide on every run.
For: anyone who has done a basic avalanche course and wants to search faster under pressure.
Bring: transceiver, shovel, probe and your touring setup.
