Crevasse rescue, 12pm – 2pm · Ross Berg (IFMGA)
Learn a glacier rescue system from the anchor up. Build snow anchors, set up a mechanical-advantage haul, and work through getting a partner back over the lip. You’ll leave knowing the sequence well enough to set it up without having to stop and think.
For: ski tourers heading onto glaciated terrain, or anyone who wants to refresh their rope skills before spring.
Bring: harness, plus whatever glacier kit you own (crampons, prusiks, pulleys, locking carabiners). We can lend what you’re missing.
